Edgar County Airport is a public-use airport in Edgar County, Illinois, United States. It is located five nautical miles (5.8 mi, 9.3 km) north of the central business district of Paris, Illinois.〔 The airport is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a ''general aviation'' facility.〔(National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems ) for 2011–2015: (Appendix A (PDF, 2.03 MB) ). It has one runway designated 9/27 with an asphalt surface measuring 4,502 by 75 feet (1,372 x 23 m).〔 A second, intersecting runway, designated 18/36, was completed in late 2012. For the 12-month period ending August 31, 2010, the airport had 7,000 aircraft operations, an average of 19 per day: 98% general aviation and 2% air taxi.
